I‘m giving this 5 stars for the joy it brings me to see Garfield, Odie and Nermal in sharp, glorious color, and the great memories as I‘m reminded of my childhood obsessed with Garfield. This is geared more towards children but it was nice taking a stroll down memory lane. Nermal is my favorite! 🐈

I've never read a book with a non binary character, which makes this rather odd for me. I'm an ally, but the concept of gender fluidity is still extremely new to me as well. I'm stuck on old grammatical ways, so getting pronouns wrong has been issue for me. That said, Sal makes for an interesting character. I don't care for their attitude much, but the story's nice so far.
