For #SeriesLove2025 , I have decided to read all the Beatrix Potter books. In January, I read The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which was like visiting a dear old friend, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, which I had not read before. Although Squirrel Nutkin is adorable to look at, I was quite surprised by his rudeness of manner! 🐿️

The boy child (really my only child but 🤷🏻♀️) is at orchestra rehearsal for their big “Christmas” concert next week so grabbing a hard cider, a personal cast iron skillet cookie, and some pages at a local bar while I wait! I say “Christmas” because the director at the strings school he takes lessons from decided to do music from the 8th century up until Bach for their winter concert this year instead of Christmas music. #teamxmaschacha
This book would be wonderful to use with children in teaching then the importance of listening to adults so they can be safe.
