Gustav and Henri are an unlikely pairing but they are best friends. These two characters could not be more different than eachother but somehow their friendship endures all of these challenges. This is an awesome book that children will love reading.

This graphica is about karen, a second grader, who loves to have fun with her friends. In this book, the author explores adventures on her roller skates. Overall, this book is fun to read but not my favorite.

This is a story about a squid and a shark that are best friends. An unlikely pairing but it is okay because the shark is a vegetarian and will not eat fish. This is a cute story about friendship and is very worth the read.

In this graphic novel, a student named Jordan explores his love for drawing anything about his life. This ends up putting him on track to a prestigious art school. This story is incredibly well written and very fun to read.

This piece of graphica is about my personal favorite superhero spiderman. In this graphic novel, miles explores his powers with electricity to help him fight crime. Overall, this is an incredibly fun read.

This piece of graphica contains many different types of representations of chinese culture with several racial stereotypes and cultural norms from the perspective of an author born in China. I enjoyed reading this book to understand more about other cultures

This is a wonderful and cute story that is all about the power of being kind to others. There is a lot of irony in this story about an owl helping out a worm but it shows that just because someone may look scary they could have great intentions.

This book paints the picture of how Harlem became what it is today. The author does a wonderful job highlighting cultures that make up one of the most culturally diverse cities in America.

Time flies is a book about a bird flight through prehistoric and present times. Images in this picture book jump from dinosaur bones to actual dinosaurs.
