This was such a quirky novel, but I love Backman‘s style. It says something when an author can tackle tough issues like loneliness, depression, death and all the human struggles with compassion and humor. I thought it was a beautiful story.

My first 5⭐️ read of 2021. It made me laugh and cry. It‘s a mystery revealed backwards, from the end to the beginning, and then back to the end. But it isn‘t really a mystery. This is a story about human nature. Full of flawed characters who are so real, and told using second person, the reader can‘t help but understand and sympathize. Ultimately, this a story about the innate goodness of the human race, and a story of hope. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 ❤️📚
