pickRuler of Beasts is the 6th book in the Dorothy Must Die prequel series, and so far, it is my favorite besides the first book. The formerly Cowardly Lion 🦁 comes off much more sympathetic than the Tin Man and Scarecrow. This includes the Lion forming a friendship with Ozma, even though he was sent on orders from Glinda, as well as a fight with Ozma and the Nome King.
