🎹 We have a piano in our house for the first time. It‘s been 48 years since my Mom has played. She bought herself a few books of music to play Christmas Carols & see if she could remember & play. And guess what? SHE REMEMBERS! It‘s our new #ChristmasTradition to hear her play some carols. Now just need the piano tuned 🤣 🎄

I would like to introduce you all to one of the greatest Christmas traditions of my household.

Buy a chocolate orange at the start of the month, and you wait. When the frustration gets to be too much, and this year it‘s 2020 in general, an online seller shipping you a “signed copy” that is DEFINITIVELY NOT signed, and delayed packages everywhere, you pull the orange out of the pantry and slam it down on the counter as hard as you can.

Every year I make our nieces + nephews + my son a Christmas ornament with their name & the year on it. My hope is that when they grow up & have their own place, their parents will be able to give them a box of ornaments to decorate their tree with. Some are pictured above

Top left one is for this year made out of deer antler tips and painted with a tree. Finished yesterday, also a #christmascraft
