I couldn‘t decide between the two so I posted both. A classic Agatha Christie and an exciting middle grade book about a boy shipwrecked on an island. Tagging @Karisimo for tagged book.

I‘ve recommended this book to so many people. It‘s short and packs a big punch (and, it doesn‘t get the buzz I think it deserves).
The other “C” book that was really fantastic was Columbine.

This book is hitting a lot of the themes for today: having Friday as a character, a C in the title for Crusoe, and an all around great book to read about a cast away.
If you are looking for a beach read this will be perfect. Clarke sets the mood quickly as you feel Erin's desperation to find out what has happened to her sister, Lori. Regrets and secrets follow every character as the truth unravels. With hints of 'Lost' and 'Castaway' this is a quick read mystery.

Sophie and Barry find themselves stuck on an island. They don‘t necessarily get a long at first but quickly realise that they need each other for survival.
I felt like I was on an island with the characters while reading this book. There were glimpses of the present day throughout it and I kept on thinking of how it will end…
I read this book few years ago when I was in school. It is a great book it's mystery kept me hooked. This book tells you to be in the present and enjoy your life as it passes. It also shows a connect between animals and humans. The old man which the author meet on the island was lost due to shipcrash but he was save. He stayed on the island since then, he got friendly with the animals and stayed with them. I just love reading books of the author.
This looks really interesting. But also check out The Blue Tattoo for a non-fiction account of someone living in a white society with a tattoo on her face. It takes place in the 1800's before tattoos were considered acceptable. Olive Oatman was her name, though I consider the story quite sad.
