#RiotGrams | Day 8 | #BooksLovedAsATeen these are some of the books that I could never give up from my teen years. Saving Francesca, Sisterhood of the traveling Pants and Kite Runner definitely have the most wear and tear. #catchup

In my early teens, my reading interests were pretty typical: the usual teen romance novels, YA sci-fi, fantasy, & comedy. My tastes matured, of course, in my mid-late teens. That's when I rediscovered a love of poetry. I also was introduced to writers like Vonnegut, Robbins & Burgess. There were plenty of other #BooksLovedasaTeen, but these were the first ones I thought of. #Riotgrams
Gone With the Wind should be on this pile, but "someone" has my copy...#riotgrams, #bookslovedasateen
These are 4 #BooksLovedAsATeen but my memory is hazy! At school we did Rebecca, To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies. I loved Judy Blume & Ruth Park (Australian author) too but that may have been pre-teen? Then later there was Paulina Simons (Tully 😭). #riotgrams
Day 8: #bookslovedasateen
Okay, so I don't have a ton of books from when I was a teen, so this is more of a teen/preteen collection. A couple of these books I haven't read yet, but I liked the author at that age (Mari Mancusi, Melissa Marr). I also used to love the Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan and pretty much all of the Fear Street books. Also the Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray, I'd love to reread those.

I stuck with this series through to the end, which means I at least read them into Middle School. Came across this cache while cleaning the house last week.
