March #bookspinbingo update. I finished 11 titles.

Favorites were Spinning Silver, Songs in Ursa Major and MEM (tagged, also a March #roll100 pick) all 5 ⭐️ reads.

#bookspin was R‘Jaal‘s Resonance - Ruby Dixon is always a great read. I loved being back on the Ice Planet.

#doublespin was The Lightkeeper‘s Daughters which was in my stack from mom category.

Icebreaker was a #booktokmademedoit read for #nsr23 ⬇️

MeganAnn American Demon was for #serieslove2023 @andrew65 and I loved being back in the Hollows. 2y

The Change: A Novel | Kirsten Miller

My top 10 reads of the year.
The Change has to have the top spot. I will recommend it to anyone, regardless of what kind of books they read 😂
Verity I read it &then read the special edition. It‘s so chaotic, it has some problems.. it has many problems.. but wow
Song of Achilles & ACOTAR series, #booktokmademedoit #worthit
Lavender House deserves as much hype as any of the above.
Sager‘s newest is probably the most controversial 😅 on my list

5feet.of.fury Killers of a Certain Age - I ❤️ the characters and the comraderie
Birds of California was so topical, so sweet
The Vanishing Half was outstanding. Def the smartest thing I read all year.
Firekeepers Daughter was a great coming of age story, which also shed light on current struggles of First Nations people.

kplovesbooks Sager's newest made my top 6! 😁 2y
5feet.of.fury @kplovesbooks Nice! The twist had some divided responses, but I really loved it! 2y
kplovesbooks @5feet.of.fury Same! It just worked very well. I wouldn't have believed such a twist could work so well had I not read it myself! 2y

Yet another #BookTokMadeMeDoIt because I will never learn.

This book is super popular in my corner of BookTok and has all the trigger warnings for being very dark and very spicy. It is those things, and actually makes an attempt at having a plot. Unfortunately that plot is completely unbelievable, the writing is not great, and it‘s got so many annoying tropes.

Warning: throw your feminism card out the window if you‘re gonna try this. 😬

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Christy2318 And now I have to bump it up my TBR 🤣🍌 2y
sprainedbrain @Christy2318 it passed about 12 other Booktok books on my tbr and I BURNED through it. 😂 2y

#BookTokMadeMeDoIt

Saw a post on the most disturbing reads and naturally I had to find it. Told in the POV of a convicted pedophile and murderer who corresponds via mail with a younger girl who shares his ideals, this was a hard one. The writing wasn't bad but all over the place as you see the gradual decline of the narrator. Graphic at many points and deeply unsettling. I really just don't know what to think....

TheAromaofBooks Great progress!! 3y
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I saw this on a similar (maybe the same) list. I have it but haven't read it yet. 3y
FantasyChick @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego I think it's an interesting read. I still don't really know how I feel about it but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts when you get to it! 3y
