It's October 2nd, and all I can think about is the heat. I can't even adult right now. Where oh where is autumn? We have what's called a heat dome hanging over us, and nothing is making it move out of here. And I'm sorry to be a downer, but it literally has a choke-hold on me right now. #burningupinphoenix 🔥🔥🔥

I am loving this trilogy! The sci-fi world is so immersive, and just when I think the stakes can't get any higher, the characters are put into even more difficult situations. Not to mention these covers are stunning!

And now I have to wait until August to potentially have a resolution to these emotions and trust issues you gave me?!?! If you ever see this Author, I despise you. Keep up the excellent work!

And Then There Were None and Other Classic Mysteries | Agatha Christie

This is my most recent acquisition in my small, but beloved, collection of Barnes and Noble Leatherbound Classics. This was a no-brainer as the three books that are included easily rank among my favorite Christies. All are standalone books that don't feature either Poirot or Marple, they are all considered either classics or Christie ranked them as a personal fave & they all feature one or two memorable #malicious characters.

I've been watching the show Once Upon A Time a lot recently, and it's given me a real craving for fairytales, so I brought out my various fairytale books! 👑🐸🏰 I think what I love most about fairytales is that you don't have to have any sort of superpowers to be a hero-all you have to be is kind! 🤗💖

Fairy Tales from Around the World | Andrew Lang

I ended up unfortunately being disappointed with this collection. It definitely has a lot of stories I haven‘t read before, and the leather binding is beautiful with a ribbon bookmark and great illustrations. But most of the stories were not very engaging. I think out of the hundreds of stories in here I liked about 7 that were new to me.
