Otherwise… I read 5/10 for #trappedonanisland, 2 #aam novels, got stuck in the maze, 22/31 for #31by31, 5 books about witches… & I still have to figure out how I did for the #autumnatoz. Stay tuned!

I had never read this classic mystery before but it was a fun brain-teaser. The residents of an apartment building are named as heirs to the Westing fortune and must solve riddles and clues in order to receive the fortune.

Finished this brand new release & start to Harper‘s new paranormal romance 3-book series (Starfall Point). The audiobook was released last week so not in the Litsy database yet & tagging under this book. Cute & fun Oct listen, Riley goes to the island at bequest of her aunt hoping to learn about her recently-passed mother‘s family & finds out she is a witch & caretaker to a houseful of ghosts. As it was audio ⬇️

A soft pick for a cute Halloween story & quick read yesterday for #Scarathlon2022 Although I have not read the preceding books about the terrible Herdmans, tge local family of delinquents & their mischief, it was easy to follow & made me laugh a couple of times. There were also 69 words from #ScarathlonWordSearch for an extra 690 points (to the 26 already) for #TeamMonsterMash 👻🎃🧟🧟‍♀️🧙🏻‍♀️

4.5 ⭐️ I really enjoy the writing in this series! The characters are so diverse and in a way that actually feels natural. The crimes require more than just common sense to be solved, which captures my attention. I really like that Daisy is in school for criminology, as opposed to her just being witty & outsmarting clueless police detectives.
