So most of my stationary is down in Florida, but I did bring along a set of postcards with drawings inspired by The Hobbit. My friend is the biggest JRRT fan and he's been going through some very rough times lately, so I write to him in a hope that I can put a smile on his face. I don't really have books about innocence, but I do have a lot about the loss of it. This is on my TBR pile about a girl who is being forced to go through female genital mutilation. It's about fighting to maintain her innocence and while I'm sure this will not be an easy book to handle, I have a feeling this will be required reading. #memoir #innocence #augustphotochallenge #augustofbooks

If I wrote a blurb about my relationship w/ #booksandmusic I would have to add about 27 comments so I'm just going to post about my fave musical act. The Tallest Man on Earth's music & lyrics are poetry in motion, an embodiment of nature, an escape into blissful oblivion. If I'm not reading, there's a good chance his music is on.
