This series pushed me out of my usual reading comfort zone, as I don‘t typically gravitate toward romance. But I decided to give it a shot, and it was a pleasant surprise. While the story includes some clichés, it also adds unique twists that keep it interesting. The book is graphic, focusing on the deep connection between the main couple, with a touch of MFM romance that adds an intriguing layer.Overall, it was a satisfying and refreshing read.
pickThis was a reread for me. I just couldn't get into the mood for anything else and I wanted that slow burn story. It had been a while and I had forgotten most of what happened. I love Douglas's writing style and I got sucked into this book again very quickly. Loved the angst, the forbidden romance and just the right amount of steam for my tastes. Still a 5⭐️ Book.

pick18 year old Salem‘s life has been full of trauma. When her 30 year old neighbor, Thayer moves in her whole world is turned upside down. This definitely has some open door activity and some SA triggers. I am into the next one now because I need to know what happens with this couple. It‘s more of a YA read but still good and easy!
