Whiteout is one of the #50wordsforsnow. And look, a Follett book under 500 pages! This one takes place during a blizzard on Christmas Eve so I may read it in a few weeks. ❄️ #winterwonderland ❄️

I was expecting dark nordic noir with this read set in an Icelandic town isolated by heavy snowfall and got quite a cosy crime read which would read well as the nights draw in. I lent it to my mum who then bought the rest if the series so i returned from last visit with all 4 - may read on soon.
I'll also tonight be hunting through my cds for my copy of this album - cosy crime and kate bush a perfect combination
#50wordsforsnow This book set in Denmark and Greenland is full of snow. It starts so well with a good character, a gripping mystery and some fascinating stuff about Danish-Greenlandic relations but the plot is unbelievably silly by the end @TrishB @Cinfhen #winterwonderland
A line from Atwood every Canadian knows.
