It‘s books like this that make me wish I was in a book club 😩

It definitely appeals more to a teen audience but as I experienced the story as a teen I feel very attached. Revisiting this memories surfaced that had once been forgotten. Personally I think the film captures the book brilliantly.

Powered_By_Plants Having a daughter myself ,although not a teen makes me hope I can support her through those tough teen years and like a butterfly look after her but not hold onto her too tightly to break her wings but protect her delicate self 🦋 🦋

Beautifully written with lots of irony ... (their mothers suffocating protection) and trying to understand the complexity of the female adolescent mind ❤️❤️ 4y

Great idea, @Andrew65 - a readathon is just what my TBR needs. I‘m got a lot of books in progress, I‘m behind (okay - not yet started) on #15books15weeks and I‘ve got a bunch of buddy reads in the go. So my goals are:
1. Finish 2 of my 4 in progress books
2. Stay up-to-date on #potteraday and #PemberLittens
3. Catch up on #HeyCarrots
4. Get my #flaviabuddyread done for this month
5. Get 4 of my #15booksin15weeks books done.

VeganCleopatra This may seem super random but I've been asking fellow vegans if they have a go-to brownie recipe? I have tried so many over the years and cannot find "the one" and fear it may be living at elevation. No worries if you don't have an answer or don't like chocolate or something (?). ? 4y

I always use the Bosh boys peanut butter and jam ones and then just take out the PB&J out if we arn‘t feeling it and add extra chocolate and white chocolate or nuts. I will dig it out for you 😉 . Not liking chocolate!! Never heard of such a thing 😜 (edited) 4y

VeganCleopatra Lol thanks for indulging my question. And can you believe I know people who don't like chocolate? 😱 I don't get it. I've never actually tried a Bosh recipe before, do you like them overall? I'm concerned about removing the pb and jam in terms of moisture etc (very important at elevation). What do you do exactly to compensate? I know you said add extra chocolate but I mean specifically? 4y

Powered_By_Plants @VeganCleopatra the pb&j is just dropped on the top of the brownie to give a marble effect 🤤 , if I don‘t use that I use chunks of chocolate and white chocolate and poke them in the top 😋 . Iv posted the recipe I hope you can read it. Lots of homemade goodies , heart shaped fruit scones I bought Dairy free spray cream for the kiddies but I prefer the oatly creme fraiche it‘s amazing with scones and jam 🤩 4y

VeganCleopatra Thanks for posting the recipe, I actually found it online. It does call for some of the pb in the actual brownies. I guess you usually skip that and they're ok? Ha. I don't even know if we have this oatly creme fraiche in the states. 🤷‍♀️ When I need cream I make coconut cream. 4y
