Tom Selleck is an icon and I couldn‘t wait for his memoir to come out on audible. I enjoyed listening to his story. He made it clear this book was going to focus on his career and wasn‘t going to be about his personal life, but he did give many family anecdotes that made him even more likable. Book #110 in 2024

I am glad I read this AFTER reading the rest of the “A Good Girl‘s Guide to Murder” series. It makes so much sense. Pip‘s obsession was born here. She‘s so clever. I loved this series! #110 #BookSpin #BFC22 #ReadMyRoom #SERIES2022 #NovelNovember #TBRTarot #PromptMaze #AutumnBingo2022

This book just feels physically good in my hands. It enlightened me so about what it means to be Deaf and the challenges navigating the hearing world. It was painful to read what she heard and what was actually spoken and what she had to do ALL THE TIME to figure it out. There was also lots of hope. All good things. Everyone should read this! #110 #BookSpinBingo #4 #BFC21 #2 #DisabilityReadathon #SuperSeptember #FallIntoReading

wanderinglynn Sounds like a great read! 3y
EadieB @Allylu Interesting book 📚 I‘m glad I still have good hearing as it must be frustrating trying to figure out what people are saying! 3y
Allylu @EadieB I‘m Deaf in one ear and I sometimes lose conversations, so I kind of get it. I‘m very afraid of losing my hearing in my other ear. BTW the author is also Deaf and didn‘t learn to sign until she was a teenager like the MC. She offers ways to help Deaf people when you encounter them. It‘s very good. 3y

EadieB @Allylu My husband has bad hearing and I thought he was just tuning me out until he finally got hearing aids. 3y

Not bad.
Max a guy with multi personalities, is also a serial killer. He talks to Dr. Cogan while being held, she needs to confirm his illness before being put to death. But he breaks out of Jail and then kidnaps the doc, where she really starts to get to know all of his personalities.
Very good, don't read if you can't handle rape, or violence.

#110 of my year. I‘m only going to read a few chapters lol I swear! I have been reading all day I know, but I‘m not ready to join reality again just yet hehe Also I‘m listening to The Sun (feat. Bryson Tiller & Raphael Saadiq) by KYLE this song makes me want to go on a long drive and just blast music with him 🥰

Caffeinated_Reader That was a pretty great sci-fi filled story, it was a bit too long for me and felt wordy but all and all I give it 3.5 stars. Kira is thrown into such a crazy and terrifying situation and no matter what she adapts and fights through it all. I just wish it wasn‘t as drawn out. But yeah, not too bad of a read. 4y

#110 of my year. When I was 17 I found a copy of this book at a church yard sale and really liked it. I also remember Kurt Cobain often mentioning it and that‘s mainly why I read it lol gonna give it a reread since I only read it the once and gonna try to find the movie 🖤

Caffeinated_Reader Yup, still creepy. I definitely want to see the movie now for sure. I don‘t think I would have read it as many times as Kurt Cobain reportedly did but it‘s worth the read. It‘s quick paced although I think the beginning drags on a bit but yeah. Great read. 5y
