This completes my third reading (listen) of the Harper Connelly series. I‘m kind of surprised by the 3 stars in my original review because I‘m around a 4 now. I didn‘t finish Harris‘ Sookie series as I grew bored with it and have always wished this series was longer. This time I think maybe 4 books were perfect. No chance of the series becoming boring. Of course, after reading some comments on other reviews I found out the characters show up in ⬇️

You could have knocked me over with a feather when it was revealed who the killer was. This is the fourth and final book in the Harper Connelly series. I enjoyed this series more than her Sookie Stackhouse series. There just were too many Sookie books and they were mediocre at best. I know that‘s an #unpopularopinion but it‘s mine and I‘m stickin‘ with it. (cont)⬇️

This was a great 4th and final book in the series. It tied everything from the series together, and had several unexpected plot twists.

This book has been on my TBR for years. It‘s the 4th and last book in the series. Book 3 took a turn i did not care for, but I wanted to finish the series. It felt rushed and chaotic. Plus the the thing that happened in book 3 was amplified. It‘s a shame because the main story line is good.

I really need to buckle down on books I own. Books 1-14 on the list I actually own. Books 15-20 have been on my TBR for too long. This year I‘ve only read 3 books off my kryptonite list that I made at the beginning of the year. #augustimcountingonyoutobemymonth

So. Good. Figured out part but not all. I‘m so sad that this series is over. I‘m listening to Sookie Stackhouse and am not super into it, and disliked Aurora Teagarden. Ahh sadness. #cozyinthesun

Spent the night reading the tagged book and snuggling my pups. Forgot to take a pic so you get the quilt my aunt made me out of my grandma‘s clothes. It even smells like her. 💕#cozyinthesun

I was a bit disappointed with this one. I felt that some of the heath between Harper and Tolliver had gotten lost somewhere between the last book and this one. I wasn't too sure about many of the plot choises either. Still an entertaining read.

Found new kind of Pepsi Max from the store. It's made with lime. Really good. 😋 Perfect for drinking while enjoying the sun and reading.

Such a crazy week! I'm so happy it's friday night and I get to enjoy warm weather and a book on the balcony! 😊📚

Just trying to beat my #24in48 record of 12.5 hours this go around.

I'm impressed with this series by Harris. It's much edgier than her others. Those have fun at their hearts. But this series has sadness, depth, & complexity in the story & characters that reminds me of some of Gillian Flynn's characters.
If you think you don't like Harris, but you do like supernatural twists, you should give this series a try. It reveals a completely different side of Harris. And I hope it's not the last we see of it.

Fourth and final book in the Harper Connelly series. This one was a bit rushed in the end trying to tie up all of the lose ends. I read some reviews indicating they didn't like the characters, but I didn't feel that way. Overall, I enjoyed this odd little mystery series and would have read more.3🌟
