UDL Principle 6.1 (guide appropriate goal-setting) is good for this book if it is used as IR. This is because the teacher could help the student self direct their thinking and have them set their own goals for reading at home. DrSpalding I read this series allowed to first and second graders. The readability level is that of 2nd to 3rd graders. Be sure to emphasize Junie's inappropriate behavior as talking points on how to properly behave. 7y
