M.T Vasudevan Nair is my mother's favourite writer and she recommended this book to me when I told her that I needed to read more books in translation. I hope to pick up the book 'Kaalam' (Time) by the same writer. That one was recommended in Ann Morgan's A Year Of Reading The World blog.
