Night Angel: The Complete Trilogy
Night Angel: The Complete Trilogy | Brent Weeks
The omnibus edition of New York Times bestselling author Brent Weeks' blockbuster NIGHT ANGEL TRILOGY. With over one million copies in print, Brent Weeks has become one of the fastest selling new fantasy authors of all time. For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art - and he is the city's most accomplished artist. For Azoth, survival is just the beginning. He was raised on the streets and knows an opportunity when he sees one - even when the risks are as high as working for someone like Durzo Blint.Azoth must learn to navigate the assassins' world of dangerous politics and strange magics - and become the perfect killer.THE NIGHT ANGEL TRILOGY, one of the most popular epic fantasy series in recent years, is compiled into one volume for the first time. Included in this omnibus edition are: The Way of Shadows, Shadow's Edge, and Beyond the Shadows.Review"What a terrific story! I was mesmerized from start to finish. Unforgettable characters, a plot that kept me guessing, non-stop action and the kind of in-depth storytelling that makes me admire a writer's work." --- Terry Brooks"A compelling epic tale of heroism, vengeance, and magic" --- The Greenman Review"An impressive debut." --- SFFWorld.com"Best fantasy of the year, possibly the decade." --- BooksMonthly.co.uk"Weeks creates a rich blend of politics, culture and character in the Night Angel Trilogy... then throws in magic-using assassins. Brent Weeks is so good it's starting to tick me off." (Peter V. Brett, The New York Times Bestselling author of *The Desert Spear* ) About the AuthorBrent Weeks was born and raised in Montana. After getting his paper keys from Hillsdale College, Brent had brief stints walking the earth like Caine from Kung Fu, tending bar, and corrupting the youth. (Not at the same time.) He started writing on bar napkins, then on lesson plans, then full time. Eventually, someone paid him for it. Brent lives in Oregon with his wife, Kristi. He doesn't own cats or wear a ponytail. OK one last weekend non-review share. How often does this happen to you?

You find a pretty book that you want. You put it on your Amazon Book wishlist. Christmas is coming so you‘re shopping for others for a few months.

You return in January to get the book & it‘s SOLD OUT. Everywhere. 37 days prior it was $20 & now it‘s no where unless you have $200. 🤨

How do you find out if a book is going to be reprinted? I fear I‘m wasting my time. 😫

Erinsuereads Check barnes and noble. We had several copies that sat on the shelf FOREVER 4y
Twainy @ErinSueMreads thank you. I know what you mean. For over a year they were everywhere. Less than 6 weeks after I put it on my Amazon list it disappeared. I tried the B&N app, it says sold out. Thank you for your help. 4y
LibrarianRyan Bookshop.org says they have it in paperback. 4y

When you can‘t read your mentor note he left for you because there is too much blood. Just means it‘s an amazing book series that looks into the practicalities of life.

KathrynElise @Crazeedi thank you! 😊 6y
KathrynElise @cinfhen @reviewsbylola they are a great series 👍🏼 The writing style is unusual so it took me a little while to get into it but then I was hooked. “Dark and mysterious” is what Weeks was aiming for I think @emilyhaldi and he pulled it off pretty well 😊 6y

I‘d read the first book, The Way of Shadows, before but this was my first time reading 2 & 3. Weeks makes it so easy to inhabit the world he‘s created—intriguing characters you care about, a plot full of twists & turns, a thin line between good/bad & a good dose of humor. Importantly, Weeks isn‘t so in love with his world that the books lose forward momentum—he even finishes them! If you‘re a fan of sprawling fantasy reads, this is a good one.

I got a lot of work done this morning and the afternoon has turned grey and rainy. What to do...what to do... I know! Tea, chocolate and a BIG book. Sometimes grey rainy afternoons are the best! 🌧📚🍵🌧

I actually am that quirky reader who will read the acknowledgements. Every time. I‘m not alone, am I? Anyone else read the acknowledgements?

wanderinglynn I read acknowledgments. For some reason, I find them fascinating. 6y
ofclumsywords I read them too!! I like to see who the author has thanked for inspiration for a character or world! 6y
SW-T I read them. They‘re generally pretty interesting. 6y

As hinted at, I‘m going to slow down. This one—all 1189 pages of it—should take some time. Fair to say, long summer days were made for books like this. And can I just say this is a very cool cover?!?

Absolutely breathtaking series of books. Read several chapters and you won't be able to set the books down. The best books I've read in a long time.

I finished "The Way of Shadows" the other night and I was mindblown! So pleased to have this omnibus edition so I can immediately start the next book, "Shadow's Edge".

I read Brent Weeks' Night Angel Trilogy, Books 1 & 2 and found them to be brilliant. Very much along the lines of Robin Hobb with plenty of skullduggery and backstabbing going on in a typical fantasy world of horses and torches, will be reading book three as soon as it arrives. ~Shan

I absolutely love this series. Very dark and gritty fantasy. The main character Kylar is very likeable, always trying to do the right thing in a world where not much is right.
