Took a night off of reading to curl up with my husband and watch Arrival. What an incredible film!

Weaponxgirl This film destroyed me in a good way! I saw it in the cinema and just came out crying and raving about how it was a perfect sci fi movie. Was very upset it didn't get more Oscar nominations 6y

Date night with the Hubster tonight. We have 6 kids between us, so Christmas Eve/Christmas is pretty crazy. It was time to relax and have a glass of wine before tomorrow. Hope all you Littens have a great holiday!

Ashley_Nicoletto We went on our first date to a bookstore. ❤️ We still go fairly often. I say "have you read this" a million times and tell him about why it's incredible and he says no, but tells me he will. ? 7y

BarbaraJean @marynmkfrsh @GypsyKat Absolutely! What‘s funny is that it was the first book in a series, and now over 5 years later, I‘m fiiiiiiiinally finishing up the last two books. 😂 In my defense, there are 14 in the series and they‘re each about 800 pages long. 😆 7y

BarbaraJean @GypsyKat Ha! It‘s of course an epic fantasy series—the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. Jordan does have some writing tics that bug me, but overall, I‘ve enjoyed it. Tagging the first book (the first date book!):

BarbaraJean @GypsyKat Do it! They really are bricks, and the middle few are a bit of a slog, but the last few volumes I‘ve read have confirmed that it‘s worth it. Jordan was an amazing world-builder and he wrote some fantastic characters. 7y

A break in the reading for a date night with hub. Not book related except I talked about books all night! He is sold on watching the movie of A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet if one ever eventuates! 😂 (my only hope as he doesn't read fiction)
