I‘m SO excited to receive my first Slightly Foxed issue. And the clothbound memoirs are such a wonderful size. 😍😍

Epic mail day!

The Kindest Lie was sent to me by the publisher. I‘ll be giving it to family since I already purchased it through BOTM.

MICHELE!!!!! I cannot believe you sent me a brand new copy of Death‘s Acres. So kind of you. 🥰 I‘m really looking forward to it.

And my first parcel from Foxed Quarterly. Only one book was for me, my subscription clothbound, Cider With Rosie. The smaller size is perfect for my living room shelves.

Somehow I‘ve never heard of Slightly Foxed before. I discovered it last night on IG and I simply HAD to subscribe (to both the quarterly magazine as well as the quarterly clothbound memoir.) I am giddy with excitement over here. Anyone else subscribe? A little birdie told me you do! @LeahBergen

I wrapped up the final pages of this glorious quarterly magazine over the weekend. This autumn issue has been particularly good! I‘ve added several of the books mentioned to my TBR, and even found a few of the titles I jotted down, in secondhand shops - they now reside on my nightstand (a gentle nudge to get to them soon). I particularly enjoyed the following essays (see comments).

I‘ve gushed repeatedly about the delightful literary magazine, Slightly Foxed. Along with the magazine, they also publish forgotten memoirs, children‘s books, & host a brilliant podcast. A lite supper on a very hot day, (we have a heat advisory for the next three days, temps 100°F or higher ?) and the last few pages of the summer edition of the Slightly Foxed Quarterly (I try to stretch out each issue, sometimes this is a monumental feat, since it demands to be gobbled up.)

So happy to receive my first edition of this literary magazine all the way from London!

Some of my very favourite flowers have arrived with the new season - french anemone & ranunculus. It was with sheer joy, I hemmed & hawed over each bright bunch, settling finally on a beautiful coral for the ranunculus & cheery raspberry for the anemone. They are happily residing on a little side table next to my reading chair. Another seasonal joy, a fresh issue of @foxedquarterly has just arrived on the stoop. #foxedquarterly #slightlyfoxed

Autumn issue of Slightly Foxed arrived!! So excited to dive in to this coziness.

🦊Is anyone else enjoying the latest Slightly Foxed edition as much as I am?! I had no idea Ian Fleming's older brother was such a cad and jerk!

I was curious how I'd like these and hesitated on a subscription. I was thrilled to find this copy at a bookstore while on vacation. And now I see their allure and a subscription is in my future. Such great stuff!

The summer issue of Slightly Foxed makes me a very happy bookworm.

This is the closest reading material to me - it was in my hand! My first issue of Slightly Foxed! I'm so excited to read and savor this, though I'd quickly be done if this was all I had with me and the aliens.
