WEIRD
WEIRD: Because Normal Isnt Working | Craig Groeschel
3 posts | 2 read | 1 reading | 4 to read
When people describe my lifestyle or family as weird, I find comfort, writes author Craig Groeschel. Who then shares a Christ-centered philosophy, on everything from money to scheduling to purity, to help you break out of the normal rut and live according to the rhythms of Gods grace and truth of his word. Normal people are stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Many of their relationships are, at best, strained and, in most cases, just surviving. Even though we live in one of the most prosperous places on earth, normal is still living paycheck to paycheck and never getting ahead. In our oversexed world, lust, premarital sex, guilt, and shame are far more common than purity, virginity, and a healthy married sex life. And when it comes to God, the majority believe in him, but the teachings of scripture rarely make it into their everyday lives. Simply put, normal isnt working. Groeschels WEIRD views will help you break free from the norm to lead a radically abnormal (and endlessly more fulfilling) life.

I can certainly identify with these Weird Habits of Book-Lovers. How about you? Are you truly a Book-Lover? Do you know any Non-Readers who think your Book Habits are Weird?

Day 9 - #weird #quotsysept18

TK-421 I can identify with all of these except one: I've never had a chance to pack a suitcase full of books to take on a trip, but I have had to rearrange things to make room for all the books I bought while on vacation! 6y
EadieB @TK-421 I think arranging your things to accommodate all your books does count! 6y
LittleBug Even after 10 years of marriage my husband still laughs about my book-quirks😊 ‘just 5 more minutes...‘ is his favourite🤣🤣 6y

Copwithabook The other day my husband said I wasn‘t listening to him. He said “in your mind, you‘re probably cheating on me...with a library!” Sadly, he was probably right 6y
erzascarletbookgasm Numbers 3,4 and 7...so me! 6y
Megara I often get comments from people who are baffled by the number of books I own. “You should open a bookstore.” No, you don‘t understand — I NEED ALL OF THEM FOR MYSELF. 6y
Megara All of these are #relatable haha 6y
Megara @Copwithabook 😂😂😂 6y
EadieB @Copwithabook @erzascarletbookgasm @Magara @LittleBug I can relate to everything you have said too! 6y

JamieArc Those illustrations look like they are done by the same illustrator who did the Ronald Dahl books. In that case, something about it makes sense to me 😆 7y
