Dog Days
Dog Days: Diary of a Wimpy Kid | Jeff Kinney
It's the summer holidays, the weather's great, and all the kids are having fun outside. So where's Greg Heffley? Inside his house, playing video games with the shades drawn. Greg, a self-confessed 'indoor person,' is living out his ultimate summer fantasy: no responsibilities and no rules. But Greg's mom has a different vision for an ideal summer . . . one packed with outdoor activities and 'family togetherness.' Whose vision will win out? Or will a new addition to the Heffley family change everything

The 4th sequel of the Diary of A Wimpy Kid. It's about Greg Heffley's summer break. Greg spends most of the time indoors playing games. His parents don't like it, so he starts going outside. He starts going to the country club with his friend Rowly. That's when he meets his crush of school, Haley. He lies about getting a job at the country club so he can go there every day. It doesn't long last, his dad found out. *More in comments*

Oneil.Perez As punishment, his dad sends him to a camp. Greg doesn't like it, and him and his friends get bullied by the bigger and richer kids. Him and his friends plan a prank on them, but it doesn't go successfully. He went home, and his dad wasn't mad at him anymore. In the end, he starts going to the country club with his friend and crush. One of the themes is honesty. I rate this book 10/10. One of the books I actually enjoyed reading in my life. 2y

Diary of a wimpy kid dog days is about this boy named Greg and it‘s his summer vacation and all he wants to do is play video games but his mom wants him to go outside and hang out with his friend rally but he doesn‘t want to do that. It‘s a really good book and a easy read

Greg is trying to enjoy his summer, but everyone else is causing that not to happen. It all started when a country club charged for smoothies. What is that all about? I really liked that Greg and his dad bonded on the mutual distaste for a comic. Forever a series to get me out of reading slums. Thanks Callie for cuddling as I finished it. 😸💛

I don‘t have a lot of new books to read at home so I decided I would read my childhood favourites from when I was in elementary, today was Diary Of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days. My book is about a kid named Gregory / Greg. Greg for his summer break wants to stay inside and catch up on his video games, but his mom has a different idea to go out, he dosent like the idea too much but it is his mom, but maybe his summer wont be as boring as he thinks.

Cfischbuch Way to go Phillip, I love the idea of re-reading some childhood favourites. Did you still enjoy it? Or do you feel like you‘ve out-grown them? 5y

My oldest stacked his 8 books he wants to read for the Barnes and Noble summer reading program. I got to pick one of his books (A Wolf called Wander) and he got to pick a book for me to read.

These were some of my favorite books when I was younger. This RF series tells the story of Greg Heffley and his many not-so-great adventures of being a “wimpy kid”. I know people who enjoy these books all the way up through high school, but I think they‘d be fine to start as early as third grade. #ucflae3414sp18

devin.s I‘ve always thought these books would be great as RT if you can cut them down a bit as they are a little lengthy. Here are some teacher resources from the “wimpy kid club”: https://www.wimpykidclub.co.uk/teachers-resources/ UDL: 2.1, 22, 2.5, 3.4 ELL: 4, 6, 11, 13, 32 7y
AshleyC Can you say childhood?! What a great idea for readers theater! Thanks Devin :) 7y
DrSpalding Agreed. Readers theater would work well. Realize that some publishers create them just for specific, pivotal chapters. 7y

The fourth installment of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" is still as funny as ever! Not the best but will still make you laugh and miss the old school days. It has such lovable characters and Greg is still an insensitive ass sometimes, i mean always, HAHA.

My #bookshop #teashop #haul of the last days.
I was in Aachen, German city with loads of history, and had to get Printen, which are a local special gingerbread. Of course I didn't buy this box only.
Got my son the Diary "books" box and bought the unicorn for my daughter. I just couldn't resist.
I've been coveting this mug for the past three years, so this week I caved.

Off now: #generalelections in Germany, there's a bakery next door. ?

LeahBergen Ohhhh! I was in Aachen a couple of years ago and discovered printen! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 7y

My oldest graduated from elementary school yesterday and requested this addition to his Wimpy Kid collection as a gift. Preparative research for middle school, clearly. ;)
