Beauty and the Clockwork Beast | 
pickI half expected this to be ridiculous. How can vampires and werewolves, steampunk romance, and Beauty and the Beast all come together without being ridiculous? I don‘t know, but it did. And it was great! I had the hardest time putting this one down and look forward to reading more from this author.

I absolutely loved this story. The narration was perfect, the romance was everything I could ask for and the female lead is strong and opinionated as well as a scientist.

pickOk, I ended up REALLY enjoying this?! This had gothic romance vibes, paranormal monsters, steampunk.. I thought it was going to be ridiculous but it ended up being well written, I LOVED the characters (Lucy and Miles 🖤!) Miles moods made me laugh and I loved how it was kind of a ghost story as well? Idk lol but I‘m definitely going to read the others in this series, I enjoyed this author!

Just finished my first book of 2019! Really interesting combination of fantasy, supernatural, and romance! I'm not very familiar with the steampunk genre, but I'll definitely have to read more!

When you open your audible and you apparently halfway through this and you bailed and you have no idea why you bailed, but now you're not sure if you want to go through this again but maybe you bailed on accident and you should totally give this a second chance? O.O

They fall for each other while trying to solve two murders and figure out the strange things happening in the manor. pickRandom book from the library shelf, and my first steampunk romance (1st steampunk anything). Interesting world building (lots of corsets!), sweet romance, low ?. Seemed a bit slow to start and then rushed toward the end but still enjoyable. The book has "steampunk proper romance" on the cover which I admit I didn't understand. Now I do - proper as in nothing below the neck if you know what I mean...
This just came back. I need to add it to my to read pile.
