A chance to peek at the genius of Agatha Christie and how she plotted and planned her stories.

"As can be seen, Christie's creativity was not exclusive - she was able to plot a murder while making a social appointment..."
Interesting exploration of AC's notebooks. You never know what will be on the next page - plot notes, timetable, a letter, to do list, play draft, list of books, crossword notes.

Why do I do this to myself? 🙄 Picked up my hold stack that came in at my local library. And I have 3 more digital library books that just came in yesterday. So I guess my current reads have to be set aside to tackle these! I am excited though. Some of these have been on my TBR for ages! 📚

Honestly, the first lines selections I‘ve had were not too great.

But reading this does make me want to be right there, sitting next to Ms. Christie pondering her next victim..

The inspiration for the wooden giraffe! Though to be honest I'm quite ready to throw in the towel for this book. It's not as interesting as I had hoped it would be. Except that I'm already about halfway through...
