I don‘t really read dystopian anymore and this isn‘t the book I was wanting from this author (but today we are being optimistic that it could be the next one that she releases) but I reserved the audio and it‘s come in… so here we go I GUESS

thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Ruthiella, she‘s certainly on her own schedule. I went to one of her book launches, years ago, and her editor made an offhand comment about her missing the deadline by a decade… so she‘s always just been like that. So she‘s definitely an author that I have a love/hate relationship with. 1mo

thegirlwiththelibrarybag @LeeRHarry, we should be in a support group 😩 I was surprised that she finished Obernewytn - that had multiple delays and extra books added in - so I‘m not without hope but it‘s hard not to feel a bit miffed when these side projects get published first. Her website suggests that it may happen next year but… I‘ll believe it when I can see it on the shelf at the book shop. 1mo
