My reasoning behind reading this book was because I found the title and cover page intriguing, not knowing what the book was really about.
When two siblings get into a huge fight over a school letter, things start getting heated and war breaks loose. Read the book to find out what happens next.

Why I chose this book: I decided to start reading this book because it was recommended to me by my previous English teacher in 8th grade
Summary: Evan has a pretty good relationship with his sister Jessie, but when he finds out their going to be in the same fourth grade class, things take a turn.

A spat and hurt feelings turn the last days of summer into a war between this brother and sister. The ending (between chapter 13 and 14) was rushed but it got the point across and had a great message. I really liked this book. My 3rd and 5th grader were reading it for school and I read a long. Nice story great lessons. Highly rec! I will be having them read book 2!

My younger two kid's school is doing a district-wide one book read, and this is their first book. So I am reading along with them so I can quiz them and help them get prizes!

I tried this fancy lemonade earlier today, and I‘m kind of in love with it. It‘d be perfect to bring to the beach and sip on while reading a book. ♥️

I really liked this book. I like how it started off making you wonder why Evan is mad. It made me want to keep reading to find out who would win the war and if Evan and Jessie would work out their problems!

I have made it to Chapter 9 and I am loving this book! I can not wait to see who wins the Lemonade War. My bet is on Jessie, but we will see. Maybe neither will win! I love how it is told from both of their points of view. #ucfsouthlakeLAE3414SummerA
