It‘s been forever since I‘ve picked this up. Idk what to say so far. There is brilliance in the madness. Some of the writing is hard to read. So much insight to the multiple layers of Cobain.
There‘s something about reading a person‘s thoughts in their own handwriting that elicits a feeling of connection that doesn‘t happen in typewritten text or even spoken language. Reading Kurt‘s journals is making my chest tight.

I've inherited my brothers books ❤️ Mostly musician biographies (and a lot of books I lent him that he never returned 🙄) it's with heartbreak and unconditional love that I plan to read through each one. Starting with one of his fave artists. I guess in all fairness, back in the day I did steal (and still sleep in to this day) his first Nirvana shirt. #siblingsareforever
