Littens in their natural habitat!

This was such a fab bookshop, with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Mainly crime, both fiction and NF but, as the staff explained, it‘s amazing how many books have crime in them!

Book haul to follow later, when I get home.

We're home from our break in York, and this is my additional #BookHaul
I'm pleased with the Folio Beowulf from Oxfam - a 1973 edition only somewhat showing its age.
Criminally Good Books is a lovely compact shop, specialising in crime novels so a great selection if that's your genre. Lovely helpful staff, too 😊
Amnesty has a fantastic range of second hand books, and a cause worth supporting.
Mrs B was very tolerant of my bookshop hauntings 📚👻

Bookwomble The little monks, Father Abbot and Brother Crispin, are Wade Whimsies, which were pocket money figurines, usually of animals, which we used to collect and swap as kids in the '70s. I don't have my childhood collection, but I've picked up just a few as an adult. These were from a curio shop called Down the Rabbit Hole 🐰🕳️ 5mo

Bookwomble @The_Book_Ninja I don't think so - t'internet says that they shipped worldwide and had quite a large market in USA as well as UK 🙂 Maybe just one of those things that passed you by. There's a collector's market, and one that's generally not too expensive. Relating to a previous post, this could easily come under both collecting and hoarding, but I'm not going there! Just the occasional addition 😁 5mo
