⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hannah is devastatingly bored and lonely. This delves into the psyche of the women who fall in love with incarcerated killers. Only it‘s not really that serious. I‘m not sure if this is meant to be satire but I choose to see it that way. I‘m not sure what the think. William was more of an idea than a reality to Hannah. She was a bit delulu. A soft pick.

I don't know whether I'm becoming harder to please when it comes to books, but this was a bit of a disappointment to me. I didn't get the ending I would.of enjoyed. The majority of the characters were a letdown for me.

Overall pick- 3.5 stars. Wasn't expecting the ending.

Hannah, the MC, was by far the worst character I‘ve read in a long, long time! But the story itself was dark and funny at times and interesting. If Hannah was not HORRIBLE, this would have been a pick. (35)

-The great writing combined with the stellar narration made this a highly digestible story. Despite how truly f*cked up it is; I could not stop listening.
-It was fast-paced and had some cringy (in a good-ish way) laugh-out-loud moments.
-It has a little bit of so many genres mashed up into one crazy AF story.

-MC is a mess for sure…but Andi Arndt played her to perfection, so ultimately I found it to be a pro after all.

Hannah is a rather interesting character. I can completely understand how she fell into the hole she did and why she had many of the feelings and motivations that she did. I also found William to be an intriguing character; I had my suspicions about him but there were still a couple of surprises along the way. I really liked the way that the story was told–if there had not been letters between Hannah and William included I would have been bummed.

This book was a fun read. Hannah, a lost 30-something millennial, is looking for love in all the wrong places. She continually finds the wrong type of guy to date and becomes fixated on them. After being ignored by her latest obsession, she begins writing angry hate letters to a serial killer she saw in the news. She's very surprised when he writes get back. This book has a lot of LOL moments, it's a fun read. 🌟🌟🌟✨

This one was a bit of a head scratcher in a good way. The central character is “in love” or rather obsessed with an alleged serial killer, and her obsession leads her right to his family‘s doorstep. It is purposefully uncomfortable and often reveals our culture‘s darker impulses in “true crime” and misogyny. Some of the plot felt too fluid for me, too aimless and unbelievable. This type of dark “comedy” is def not for everyone.

That‘s a wrap on May! June will bring the tagged ARC, at least 3 library reads, 🤞🏻 I can squeeze in the Divine Rivals sequel, and a book club pick.

If the title &cover don‘t already give it away, the main character is nutty. The synopsis says 2 much &there isn‘t much 2 add that isn‘t there. In the real world, I would say we need to find a mental health professional for Hannah. In this fictitious one, I was repeating WTFs &uttering “you‘re batshit crazy” while laughing as I turned the pages. This book, &this character, are obviously not meant 2 be taken seriously, &that is what made it so fun.
