Fun, a little silly, with a scene so reminiscent of old Scooby-Doo cartoons, I almost laughed out loud. It's not great literature, but I really do enjoy this series (or these series, as I guess it's sort of more than one interwoven). Connelly does write interesting characters.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. The Lincoln Lawyer was the book that initially got me hooked on Connelly, so I was very excited to revisit Haller, and doubly excited to see Bosch also prevalent. A fast paced courtroom drama with ample twists and intrigue. 👌🏽

Book #2 in the Lincoln Lawyer/Michael Haller series. I was wrong in my previous review, Haller & Bosch aren‘t opposites...their flip sides. They both have it in their blood & put their everything into it. The two come face to face in this one...not to miss - very important in understanding their future relationship.

Michael Connelly is quickly becoming my go to author. This is the second novel I the Haller series and it does not disappoint. If you love Bosch you will love Mickey.

#LilithJuly I just finished reading this, and I really enjoyed this sequel to The Lincoln Lawyer. Mickey Haller is thrown back into being a full-time #Criminal defense attorney when he's assigned to take over the practice of a lawyer who died. One of his cases is the high-profile case of a Hollywood big-wig.

My husband doesn't read much unless he finds a book he really likes. He found this one in a used bookstore the other day, and is really enjoying it so far! It's nice not having to read while he watches tv, lol! 😂

laur89 I can relate! My boyfriend doesn‘t read anything but the occasional Marvel/DC comic book, so movies/shows/video games have become regular background noise during reading time. 😩 5y

Elizabeth2 My hubby is not a regular reader either. On the rare occasions (maybe once a year) that he does read, I feel like he finally gets how annoying all of the interruptions are when reading. But he certainly forgets between books. 🤷‍♀️😉 He‘s talking about taking a book on vacation this year. 👍🏻 5y
