Met an old friend today at The Coffee Spot, a place with books for lending & donating & a menu of coffee & treats. It was so wonderful to catch up with her-warmed my heart. 💖While waiting for her, i was reading the tagged book- fitting to be reading a mystery set in a coffee house while I was sipping a latte in a coffee house! #acoffeehousemystery #VillageBlend #TheCoffeeSpot #coffeeandbooks ☕️📘💖
Reposting this- thanks for this readathon Jill! I appreciate your hosting these.I enjoy the feeling of camaraderie I have when participating in a Litsy readathon. #LongNights
Woke at 5:30 to Emmy batting my head with paws - signal for “Feed me!” So here I am, coffee & a book in hand, awaiting the sunrise. 🐾📘☕️🌅
Books 40-50 of the year. Sorry to do it this way but I am exhausted after working a ten hour day today.
Reasonably fast paced read that didn‘t make me want to yell at our MC as much for doing stupid, risky things.
This is the latest in one of the first cozy mystery series that I ever started. And I‘ve been waiting a while for this one. This book was pretty good. The biggest complaint that I have about it is the “flirtatious” banter between Claire and Mike. I don‘t know why I found it icky in this book. It wasn‘t over the top. There was never much detail. Definitely rated PG but still it had a high idk factor. That could be just me though.
Twists and turns galore make this a very hard book to put down which is something I have come to expect from this author so I plan accordingly.
