"You Get To A Point Where You Can Take Just So Much." EDMOND, OK-Postal employee Patrick Henry Sherrill fatally shoots 14 co-workers before turning the gun on himself. ESCONDIDO, CA-Postal employee John Merlin Taylor murders his wife in her sleep before executing 2 colleagues at work. RIDGEWOOD, NJ-Postal employee Joseph H. Harris breaks into his boss's house and slashes her to death with a samurai sword after losing his job. ROYAL OAK, MI-Postal employee Thomas Mellvane shoots and kills three supervisors following his dismissal, then pumps a bullet into his own head. GOING POSTAL Are they vengeful, cool-blooded killers? Or model employees driven beyond the brink of madness? Bloody massacres across America have struck like an epidemic, leaving a stunned nation in shock and mourning as growing numbers of disgruntled postal workers savagely strike out at the bosses who criticized or fired them. With this deadly violence on the rise, true crime author Don Lassester travels coast to coast probing the lives and grisly crimes of these enraged killers. Including first-hand accounts by the survivors and witnesses, GOING POSTAL asks who's to blame as it explores this horrifying, exclusively American phenomenon that is turning post offices into ticking time bombs. With 12 pages of shocking photographs!

Found a stack of unopened #LitsyLove mail that I am hoping to get through by the end of the month. I think my problem is I don‘t open them til I am ready to write back 🤪 #LL

Bookwormjillk I do the same thing! I need a better system! 7mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I do the same! I open them, make out the envelopes, save the stamps, and then write ✍️ 7mo

Finally! I narrowed down my choices! Here‘s to a great final round of what I think is the best part of Litsy! #LMPBC #GroupC I‘m happy with any of these choices, so I‘ll go with the majority in this. If none of them peak your collective interest, I have many more to offer!

5feet.of.fury I tried reading Lauren Groff for author a month & couldn‘t get into 2 different of hers, but any of the others I am open to! 9mo
Readergrrl Something‘s going on with the bookmark tab. It‘s not allowing me to add a review page for each novel. Sometimes there are glitches. I‘ll try again in a moment or two. 9mo

MrsGagnonreads2024 I am fine with any one of those seeing I have not read any of them. 13mo
MonicaLoves2Read The Lost Queen is amazing. I'm waiting for next year for the final book! 13mo
BeckyWithTheGoodBooks I‘m fine with any of these except for Fairy Tale. I‘m in the middle of a SK chronological read and it would jump the line. 😂 13mo
Bookzombie FYI Ordinary Monsters is the first in a trilogy and the others aren‘t out. I loved it though. 🙂 13mo
BookishBelle I haven‘t read any of these. I‘m fine with any of them. I am most interested in The Historian and The Boatman‘s Daughter but would happily read any of them. 13mo
Readergrrl Okay! I think I‘ll go with The Boatman‘s Daughter simply because The Historian (which I‘m eager to read too!) is a chunkster. I don‘t think I can finish it on time! 13mo
BookishBelle Yay! Sounds like we‘re all set! 😊📚 13mo
Readergrrl I will add my selection to the spreadsheet. 📚🩷📚🩷📚 13mo
Readergrrl Oops! Too late! Google sheet is closed. So, formally, I will be reading The Boatman‘s Daughter by Andy Davidson. 13mo

Finally! After a crazy week, I have collected some titles. Admittedly, a couple are more historical fiction but the setting evokes witches, trials, etc. I will go with majority vote here. Descriptions to follow in comments. #LMPBC #Round19
Edit: I have more books I‘d like to suggest. I‘ll make another list shortly. I‘m trying to select books that aren‘t huge chunks tees, but I have a couple that may peak your interests!!

One last ditch, last minute attempt to garner more interest in #LMPBC for #Round19. Check out @suvata page for the link to her Google Spread Sheet. It‘s such a fun Litsy Activity!
