This book is filled with funny bits and emotional bits and sparkling chemistry between extremely charismatic people and I don‘t wanna put it down. Like, it has loooooong parts, not chapters, and when I got to a 306-screen chunk an hour and a half ago I was all, “Oh, okay, I‘ll read 100 screens or so.” Then I was like, “Oh, okay, I‘ll read half of it.” Then I read THE WHOLE THING and I want another long-ass chunk now, please. #gaymay

Yesterday I tried to read a Very Serious Book about a woman who processed past trauma, but its opening chapters signalled it was also a Very Flat Book and I was NOT in the mood for that, so BOOM. I switched to a hockey romance and now I‘m all kinds of delighted with the sparkle and the bounce and the very cute dog. #gaymay

xicanti @tpixie I bail on a looooot of stuff. In this case, I MIGHT give the offending book another try somewhere down the line, since I‘ve enjoyed other stuff by the same author, but in the moment I was very happy to put it aside in favour of the tagged book. 9mo

While this 3rd book in the series doesn‘t live up to the first one, Winging It, it was still an entertaining read and I loved the cameos from Dante and Gabe. #Romantsy #GayMay 🏳️‍🌈

CarolynM @LeahBergen What can I say? I‘m weirdly obsessed😆 I have my tickets for the preseason game the NHL is playing here in September, but, honestly, the Kings and the Coyotes? What are they thinking? I can only assume they expect the poor hockey-starved expat Canadians to go to see anyone🤷🏻‍♀️ 2y
