Considering my goal was 40 a little bummed I didn‘t reach it…but considering I was in a slump the second half of the year, I did better than I expected. Pushing my goal to 48 for this year since I want to push myself to read more!

Here‘s my 2023 reading wrap-up from StoryGraph. I like the way it looks. If you want to be friends with me on StoryGraph, my username is kelli7990.

I feel pretty good about my 2023 goals.
I learned that Octavia E. Butler is just not for me. I read 8 of her novels and they were much too dark for me. I skipped the Dawn series because I just couldnt get myself to pick it up.
I didn't do well on non-fiction. I think because I focused so much on my old TBR which was 99% fiction. Will do better next year
I did get my physical TBR down, though I am not counting the books I picked up yesterday!
I have finished 158 books in 2023, which is more than triple my goal of 50 books. I‘m glad to have done so well. I will make 50 books my goal for 2024 because circumstances change. I may be able to continue at my record breaking speed or things could affect the way I spend my time. Life‘s a mystery, for good or ill, but life‘s a mystery.
I got an email from Fable. Their new feature is the 2023 Reading Wrap. I‘m not done reading any books yet but this will save me time at the end of the year when I‘m making a wrap-up. I joined Fable this year and started my own book club on there. I decided to take a break from choosing a book this month. I didn‘t realize how difficult it was to choose a book to read for a book club and I‘m also running it by myself.
I‘m going to #ReadersOnTheRiver in September and I‘ve realized there are a lot of authors who‘s work I don‘t know will be there. Some I‘ve had on my TBR and some I‘ve never heard of but I suppose I should make the books I have a priority. September will be here before I know it.
Are you going to any reader events this year?

@TheAromaofBooks my #January #bookspinbingo list for 2023!
Holidays were super busy and finally about to calm down.
Really want to focus on finishing House of Earth & Blood and Court of Wings & Ruin. I've been in the middle of them for far too long.

Here‘s my second #Roll100 list, consisting of *some* of the NetGalley Audiobooks that I‘m embarrassed I haven‘t gotten to yet. 😅 @PuddleJumper
They‘re not in the right order, but here are are the Chirp audios that I have on my first #Roll100 list for 2023! @PuddleJumper
If there‘s anyone else out there who takes their reading challenges and goals far too seriously, throw your hands up! 🙌🏻
My Boxing Day shopping consisted of a trip to the stationary store to pick up a 3 hole punch and some supplies to make the 2023 Reading Challenge Tracker/Planner of my dreams! Time to zone out with an audiobook and put it all together 😊🥰😍👻
