Instantly hooked. This book was just too quirky to let go of. Who knew a story that takes place almost exclusively inside an apartment building (with the exception of an act of “Deliberate Exposure”) could be so exciting.
This was a Christmas present from my husband and I loved it. I was laughing out loud so many times. Fun fact: last time I was in NYC we went to Red Rooster in Harlem for dinner. It was such an amazing dinner and dining experience.
Pairing books and mugs on a soccer Sunday
Solid book haul this Christmas, I‘m going to keep being naughty cuz it‘s paying off
It was a pretty good first #BookspinBingo I Read 5 books on my TBR and scored a bingo.
1. Yay to both!
2. I like decorative endpapers. And I always love a map. My current read (tagged) has chapter titles, which I feel we rarely see anymore and I like it. Example: Chapter 8 I‘d Rather Not Go Into It.
3. Winter in front of the fireplace, summer on my back deck
Thanks for the tag @Eggs
Play along Littens! #wondrouswednesday
Catching up on reviews and these two books set in NYC are quite different, but both are low picks.
Ms follows a ditzy AF attorney, who is arrested and sentenced for public indecency. The plot is very circuitous, but is basically a friends-to-lovers rom com.
B&W tackles the difficult subject of child nudity in art. Clara‘s mom became famous off a series of photos of her nude from 3-14. When mom gets cancer, Clara must decide whether to reconcile.
Ok here are 4 that are on my TBR. Do any of them appeal to y'all? @shellleigh33 @lynneamch @smalldogs_bigbooks2419
A fun one-day read about a lawyer who finds a new lease in life when she‘s placed under house arrest.
#bookhaul. That Barnes and Noble gift card was burning a hole in my pocket.
