I loved that this volume focused more on the music side of the characters and introduced new characters from Mr. Kanda‘s famous pianist days, including the unsettling Gustave Lambert, who gave me Monsieur D‘Arque from Beauty and the Beast vibes. Adding more of the characters‘ various musical achievements really opens up their world--although of course the cats are always the top priority!

The series continues to amuse me and I absolutely love it! Kanda is now cat-sitting Hibino's cat and Fukumaru could not be happier. This volume was about Kanda and his music more than about the cats, which is okay with me as long as I see Fukumaru in any way shape or form, I am content.

Kanda has dived right into helping his friend during a live performance after his band mates bailed on him. While performing live is still a struggle for Kanda he powers through for the sake of his friend. We met some new pianist who either love or hate Kanda (he is a great pianist who disappeared from the limelight) Also Kanda got to have two kitties in his home as he was cat sitting for a friend and he was ever so happy about it haha.
