Finished another one for #AuldLangSpine! I really liked this romance, but oddly a few things really stood out and annoyed me. I have no idea why and it was dumb things that didn‘t matter to the story. (Like they got off a plane and didn‘t shower and got into bed; or she randomly found out she was allergic to cashews). You went 20+ years not eating a cashew? (I know allergies can develop)
But I did like it and will read more of this author!
Starting this one at the vet today.

Lynn Painter never fails to deliver a fun, fluffy story! I enjoyed their chemistry and friendship so much; they really milked the whole “I have ZERO FEELINGS!” thing too long, especially considering how physical they were with each other & how random the fears were. Really liked it tho, and the closet scene had me 🥹🥰
Great story if you just need a good laugh and looking for a quick read. Lynn Painter writes great “palette cleanser” books for between my psychological thriller reads.
This was absolutely hilarious! One of the funniest books I‘ve read in awhile. Truly puts the com in to rom-com. 2people, looking for love in ALL the wrong places find each and agree to work together to help each other find the “one”. But maybe they don‘t need to look so hard? Highly recommend! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
This books is laugh out loud funny! Love reading by the pool when it is 70 degrees out! #currentread #travelingreader
I knew I was in for a treat when I found myself laughing at the dedication page. Lynn Painter is a wordsmith and a banter extraordinaire. While it is a stand-alone about Olivia‘s brother, Jack – it does continue the story from Mr. Wrong Number so unless you are a fan of spoilers, I would read that one first!
Cute book! When they unexpectedly reconnect on a dating app after previously having had what was meant to be a one-off hookup, they decide to make a bet on who can find love first. Become each other's wingman, if you will. It's entertaining in a predictable way (they end up falling for EACH OTHER?! Didn't see that coming 😱). I'd place it lower on the spice scale, but give points for banter. 3.5⭐️
So entertaining, so fun! Likable characters and delightful story 😊I thought this was even better than the first book in the series!

I recently read a YA book by this author and wanted to read an adult romance from her, and I think this is her latest. Turns out, it‘s the second in a series, but that didn‘t matter at all. She continues to deliver witty, fun dialogue with her characters and I enjoyed every minute. The set up for the final conflict was super far-fetched coincidental (laughably so) but I did not care one bit. Still a fun ride.
This book just made me happy. Lynn Painter keeps getting better. The banter between the characters had me smiling the whole time I listened to this one. Great fun!
I picked this up at a local book yesterday afternoon & started reading it while waiting to go to dinner with some friends. I ended up staying up too late to finish it! Super fun, witty dialogue that made me laugh out loud, and an adorable romance. I totally want a Jack. 💜
Banter = 5⭐, heck, I was recommending the book before I even finished it.
“…from the USA Today bestselling author of Mr. Wrong Number, comes a clever romantic comedy about the struggles of dating as a millennial.”
