Willeford was a pulp writer in the 1940s, books have that flavor.

#DearDecember #TropicalSetting Willeford was writing in the 1950s, part of the Hardboiled school.If you are looking for glamorous Miami,you won‘t find it here.I read them in the 80s , (when this series was published)traded them , then wanted to own them again.I remember them being funny, brash,and full of odd characters.Hoke Moseley is a detective you will not soon forget.The one on its side is Sideswipe.

A lot of times a #layover in Miami can be a drag, but at least there‘s interesting stuff on the walls. #letstravelaugust
