An amazing read! The ending was slightly complicated and fast, that I had to read some parts twice to understand what was going on, but in a good way.

Relevant in today‘s world... for sure
This book is making me lol frequently!
....future generations will not know, will not even guess, the true nature of poverty, which is the longest heritage of man. A father investigates his son's life. A nice, easy read.
I had some issues with how the way the author handled the end in terms of what he normalized. But Mariamma Chacko totally won my heart. Don't think I have seen such a well-etched character recently.
This is shockingly good. So good that I'm trying to read very slowly.
Morality was probably the invention of unattractive men. Whom else does it benefit really
unputdownnable! clearly one of the best books to emerge out of India. deceptively simple, but not quite.
Absolute class! You'll either love it or not complete reading it!
A surprise great read this year. I picked the book up for the cover and ended up with an amazing work of literary fiction.
