This audiobook was the perfect companion for my morning runs last week on a London work trip! Love staying in the city center and being able to run up the Royal Mall 😊🇬🇧

Off to London for a jaunt with family - it's going to be way too hot, so I'm foreseeing some air conditioned museums and shops on our trip. I could just spend the couple of days in Foyles, right?
I review all David Sedaris books the same - the essays (or, in this case, diary entries) are either laugh out loud funny or cringe worthy.
But I will always pick up his audiobooks.
The book title alone probably deserves a star. The content definitely earned five stars. So many laugh out loud moments and loved that it was often just ordinary diary entries that captured the hilarity of life, along with the reality.
I love looking into David‘s world and thoughts. This book was delightful and laugh out-loud funny. Listening made it all the better.
I‘m at 12.75 hours for #20in4. At first I was horrified—I sat that long? (Not that I wouldn‘t otherwise but I had a count this time! 😳) Then I remembered that most of that time I was puttering while audiobooking. 😁
Hope to finish Becoming Eve or The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by the end of the ‘thon.
Volume One was so so dark. This one is quite a bit more amusing. So much fun! The audiobook is a must.
#PassoverCountdown Cooking & cleaning completed 😁so now I‘m just delighting with David Sedaris 🎧❤️He‘s hilarious 🙌🏻Even my hubby keeps chuckling
Seems like ALL of my library holds are coming in at once!!! Pausing Flamingo‘s for the Sedaris 🎧

I‘ve enjoyed Sedaris before but this one was too much. It was too much complaining in typical ways. Sedaris normally brings something unique to the table but not here.
I love David Sedaris! His observations on life and the people living it, never fail to amuse me. I liked this diary better than the first one. But he never fails to make me laugh or just see the world through other eyes for a bit.
#FabulousFebruary Book 2 @Andrew65
Well, I finished up rereading this with my Dad (his 1st read), and we agree that having Tracey narrate part of the #audiobook disrupts the flow of listening to what would otherwise be one of our favorites. However, his anecdotes are sharp as ever, and this was definitely more enjoyable than his first diary collection (Theft by Finding ⬇️).

This much anticipated second volume of diary entries did not disappoint. I love the humor of David Sedaris and his latest book was the perfect way to end the year, as I knew it would be. 🙂
We made it to the break!! Now I'm at home with 2 cats on my lap, a cup of coffee, and the new David Sedaris book. 💙
