All eyes are on her on day one in an Islamophobic incident, & she has to decide : take off her hijab and fade into the background, or stand up for herself? Reggie @Lauredhel lol, that‘s fine. I read a YA 2 years ago where they made a Good Will Hunting joke and I thought, would kids actually get the reference? In the large scope it didn‘t really matter cause it was really good. (edited) 3y
Lauredhel @Reggie same (mostly). I am all about the Buffy references, but the Harry Potter ones frankly need to be ditched. Our at least challenged in some way, when we're talking about LGBTQIA+ aware young adults. 3y
