Finally got my #readingwithmaja new release challenge ready for the year! Soo many exciting books coming out this year that I can‘t wait to read! I‘m already half way through January‘s new Sarah Maas release. Such a fun idea!

I found this short #sci-fi #novella on #amazonkindle and really enjoy it. It was interesting gothic and a little scary. A pageturner for me🫨 the end was shocking.

Wow! This book hit me in all the feels. I feel instantly in love with both characters and knew how much they needed each other in different ways. Once their secrets were revealed, dang it hit deep! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to hug them and never let them go!

I must say this book was not what I was expecting at all. It felt rushed and so much happened in so little time. I love a quick to the point romance, but this was a bit too quick for me. I was also expecting a little more steam, but this was a bit lacking in that department. I will say it is short, so it is a very fast read and was okay over all, just not what I was hoping it would be.

This book left me speechless… literally there are no words. It was incredible (as I knew it would be because Audrey is an amazing author)! I always worry about myself after reading her books because of how much I love them! She has a unique way of making the “villains” less villainous and makes you understand them and why they do the things they do. This is a good quick read, however definitely check triggers!!!

To be honest, I am not sure I was the right person for this book. It was very well written and enjoyable to read, but for some reason it didn‘t click with me. I felt myself confused at parts and trying to keep track of what was happening as the story proceeded. I liked the characters and thought they were enjoyable to hang out with and get to know. I would recommend this book to people who love a quick, dark vampire romance!

Dark. Bullies. Why Choose. All the makings of the perfect book, but sadly it fell short. I didn‘t connect to the FMC. I felt bad for her, but I never had that moment of liking her. Same for the MMCs, I did not love them. Usually I fall hard for the bullies, but I didn‘t get the bully vibe from them - stalker yes. They just didn‘t hit the mark for me. Overall it was well written & kept me reading, but would not be a reread for me.

I am honestly not sure how I feel about this book. It had a good plot, the characters were likable, and it held my interest. It had mermaids/mermen, kidnapping, spicy scenes - what is not to like?!

However, I felt there was a lot going on and I didn‘t always understand what was going on or why things were happening.

Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend!

Wow! This book is beyond amazing! I love a good vampire story and this definitely delivered. Char hates vampires and wants nothing more than to cure vampirism. When her lab is destroyed, Julian comes to her rescue and gives her a job. She is not exactly excited because you guessed it, Julian is a vampire! Can they work together to save vampires that are being murdered or will they end up on opposite sides of the fight?! Highly recommend!

Who do I belong to? Well after this book I would have to say Vicente Moreno! Oh my stars - this man stole my heart from the moment he entered the story! He is delicious bad and I am here for it!

Mariel‘s has a bit of a stalker problem, enter Vicente to offer his assistance to protect her, once she enters his world everything changes and now she must decide who she belongs to?

Highly recommend!

Audrey Rush has done it again! She made me fall for an on the surface unlovable character and cheer for them! How does she do it?!

They work in a morgue, she wants to be unalive and he likes to unalive people, match made in… somewhere, 👀! They made a deal, but can they and will they stick to it? Read this book and find out! Again check those triggers!

I love this series soooo much! I can never have enough Emery and August, they are perfect for each other in so many ways. This book truly had me afraid for them, Sloane is pure evil and I didn‘t know I could dislike a character so much (in a good way). I love how much all of the characters have grown since the first book, very well written!

Highly recommend this series! You will be fated to fall in love with these characters!

Oh my stars! A little mistaken identity, add in three tough bikers, mix with a whole lot of spice and BAM! You have yourself an amazingly well written book that you won‘t be able to put down. The only question will be who would you choose: Dante, Maverick or Axton or will it be all three?!

Highly recommend, but please check triggers - some dark stuff happens these pages!

Oh Freddy, my love! (Yes, I did just quote a Grease song!) I love you & oh my stars did you keep me right where you wanted me… reading your story, of course! 👀

This is a great addition to this continuing story, just when I think I can‘t love a couple more the next book comes out & I am proved wrong. Golden Angel does an amazing job of story telling & character development. I can‘t wait for the next book! Highly recommend!

It all started with a hand of poker, where he won her… now all bets are off & she is hoping he is the key to her revenge plot.

First of all - Daniil is everything! He is deliciously dark & mysterious, but has a soft side. He stole my heart from the first moment & kept it to the last. Bianca was very well written, I felt bad for her & was cheering for her to succeed in her plan. This book was so good & I cannot recommend it enough!

This is a prequel in The Hawke Family Second Generation series.

Wow was it steamy and I loved every second! They met, they decided to have one night - no names, no promise of tomorrow, when the sun comes up they will part way… what could possibly go wrong?! Will one night be enough? Read Night Hawke to find out! Highly recommend!

It all started with a lie, to protect herself. Which lead to keeping secrets from the mafia.

All I can say is “Oh My Stars!” This book is soooo good! I have to admit there were moments I hated Enzo and times I had to reread because I was so in love with him I needed to read his words again. I could go on and on about how much I loved this book, but I think you need to read it for yourself. Highly recommend!

Oh my stars! I devoured this book! I loved it & can‘t wait for the next book. It is a fairy tale retelling, so it was interesting to see how all the characters fit into the story. I hated Jafar when it began & I hated him for an entirely different reason when it ended (mostly because he made me fall in love with him - jerk!😂). Ellie had my heart from the beginning & I just wanted to hug her. Check trigger & ends on a cliffhanger!

Oh my stars! I was so excited to read this book, especially since the first one ended on a huge cliffhanger. When the authors says you will both love & hate the Lords - it is very correct! I loved & disliked the Lords very much & I am not sure I have a favorite because they all have a special place in my heart now. The only part I dislike is that it is over & I want more of these men! This book is an interesting ride. It is very well written. As a girl who grew up with Buffy & Angel - I have always held a special place in my heart for vampire/slayer relationships, however for me this one was a bit underwhelming. Don‘t get me wrong, love the spicy steamy parts of the relationship, but Esme was a bit too damsel in distress for everything she had been through. Overall - loved it! Highly recommend!

The Hollow Boys are back in this amazing series and they did not disappoint!

Oh my stars! Golden Angel does it again, this book is amazing! I could not put it down and didn‘t want it to end. I fell madly in love with Q and Samantha and their story. It is an amazing second chance story with a whole lot of spice! Highly recommend! (This is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone.)

Deliverance by Evelyn Montgomery is very well written and definitely a page turner. It tells the story of Troy and Jolene, who are both seeking a second chance in more ways than one. While this book was not exactly my usual read, I liked it and would recommend to others. Please check triggers before diving in.

Wow! This book exceeded my expectations. I thought it was going to be the usual guy obsessed with a virgin story, but this was so much more! The characters were lovable and the way the story was told it felt like I was there with them. I would like to claim Xander as my newest book boyfriend, but I doubt Harlow would agree to that. Highly recommend!

First I have to admit that I read this book without reading the first 2 books in the series - 👀! I know, I know, who am I?! However, this book was so well written and interesting that I fell right into the story. I loved every minute of this book and highly recommend it, but maybe read the first 2 books before you jump in, 😉.
