Good, busy weekend, but started getting a scratchy throat yesterday. And this today. It's going to be a long week (and the next 208 weeks as well)...

lil1inblue I've been struggling hard the past week. This year has been so long already and January isn't even over. 😭 4h
ChaoticMissAdventures I am refusing to acknowledge today. I am tunneling into a book instead. I will pay attention tomorrow, but I did see the streets are deserted, his sycophant cannot handle a little cold. 4h
Captivatedbybooks @ChaoticMissAdventures you gotta acknowledge today its‘ MLK day 😉 4h

We've seen a force that would shatter our nation rather than share it,
Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy.
And this effort very nearly succeeded.
But while democracy can be periodically delayed,
It can never be permanently defeated.
In this truth, in this faith, we trust.
For while we have our eyes on the future,
history has its eyes on us.

-Amanda Gorman, 1/20/21
