I really enjoyed this book. It was really cute. The ending did seem rushed, though. I really felt like it should have been much longer, or even that the story could have had a sequel instead of the epilogue. But, it was a good story still.

Ready for another readathon! 🙌🏻 #fabulousfebruary
Hoping to get a lot of good reading done for #Loveathon, especially the romances I have on my #bookspinbingo board this month.
I love how Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau brings Paris and Mia‘s story to life with carefully used adjective phrases that enhance Mia or her perspective. For example, at the famous Café de Flore, “the meeting place of the most famous Parisians,” Mia describes her salad as “bursting with colorful crudites,” metaphoric of her feelings of being on a date (61-62 “Kisses and Croissants“).
The character didn't really have any struggles, it was a bit of an annoying read for me.
Mia travels to Paris to attend an elite ballet program for 6 weeks. She planned to focus on her role in the school play, until Louis comes along and diverts her interest.
I liked the plot of this book, but the quality of writing could‘ve been better. I wanted more of a build up to Mia and Louis‘s relationship. It occurred too quickly. I did like the relationship build up between her and her competition.

I love books that make you want to read them all over again before you even finish them. This is that kind of book for me. It was light, endearing, and made for a nice break from heavier stories. (I did keep expecting something really bad to happen, and I blame the heavier stuff for that. 😂)
If you love ballet, and French culture, pick this one up and just have fun.

All my favorite things. Romance. Ballet. Paris, France. This is a sweet romance and I loved Mia and Louis. This was a fast read with all the cast of secondary characters were just enough without being overwhelming.
This was such a sweet read! I loved Mia - she was a relatable teenager who was just trying to live her best life and focus on succeeding in ballet. Her struggles felt real. The romance was very sweet and I loved Louis. I think my favorite part, though, was seeing Mia and Audrey, her main rival, grow as characters and as dancers. I loved this book, so I hope the author continues to release books like this!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was a fresh breath of air. It was just so good and cute and everything I wanted. I loved the ballet and how proactive Mia is. The romance was adorable. I loved them looking for the painting to see if she really did have an ancestor that did ballet in Paris. I loved the friendships that were made. I highly recommend this book.

Pink cover love 💕 Two YA summer romances set in Europe. Ballerina finds summer love while studying in Paris. Aspiring baker from Miami finds new love and inspiration in England. Enjoyed the tagged book‘s plot a bit more than the other.
I think I didn't relate much to the main character that's why I think this was just an okay book... But I have to admit the second half of the book was pretty good!
This was right up my alley as a former dancer. Loved watching Mia develop her talent AND get to have a fulfilling life outside ballet! More of this and less "here's all the dark side of dancing" pls. #yalit #contemporaryromance
This was such a nice sweet YA romance. Its about Mia attending a summer ballet program, young love, exploring Paris, and even looking into a family mystery. I've been a sucker for Ballerina stories since I was a kid. I'll admit I even got misty eyes. And this was a good change up from some of the darker stuff I have been reading. It reads as younger YA, but I enjoyed it.
