Tale of 2 Mrs Nelson‘s as they battle for Mr‘s legacy.

Everyone sucks here. The characters aren‘t fleshed out enough. No one is likable or particularly interesting. I did stick around to see if I called one of the twists, and it got pretty wild. Some of the revenge tactics are hilarious. But 🤷‍♀️

This is one of those books with no likable characters - it is pretty fast-paced, but I hardly cared about any of the characters because they were all kind of awful. #scarathlon #teamslaughter @Clwojick

🎧 📚 Average Domestic thriller. I figured it out early but kept reading as I found the writing style to be engaging.

I didn‘t like or love to hate any of the 3 female MCs.

The chapters revolve in POV from Wife 1 (Katie), her daughter (Ashlyn) & the next wife (wife 2).

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/4 👇🏻

Twainy Wife 1 & hubby get married, have a kid, start a profitable business together. Hubby divorces Wife 1, marries the next wife who is half his age & a super horrible human.

Healthy hubby has a heart attack & dies. Natural causes or murder?

The author keeps you guessing by slowly doling out clues. The last chapter was satisfying.

Reggie I‘m not gonna read it but can you just tell me in a spoiler? Was it the first wife? I have a feeling it was her. 3y
Twainy @Reggie HAHAHAHA we think alike. It was written well enough with enough red herrings that it keeps you guessing and all along you get to hate these women. You are spot on. I hope I did this right cuz it‘s pretty much the only reason to read it. It was free. Amazon Prime First Reads! 😆 3y
Reggie Lol you did. It was covered. Thanks!!! 3y
Twainy @reggie wait!! They actually BOTH do it without knowing the other was doing it. But in the end the winner is First Wife! 3y

Usually when a book deals with lies, suspicions, and secrets, I‘m all in! I was excited to read this one and was left sorely disappointed. The only reason I finished the book at all was because I wanted to see how it ended. All of the main characters were unlikeable but the thing that turned me off was the writing. The story had zero depth and the writing itself was mediocre. Thankfully it wasn‘t a very long book so I didn‘t waste too much time.

This is about the second wife of a very wealthy business man who owns a company with his ex after divorcing her for his assistant. John realizes that the grass isn‘t always greener on the other side very quickly after marrying Tish. The story progresses as we learn how diabolical Tish truly is, but is she the only one with secrets? Lots of twists in this book and it kept my interest even though I found this one to be a bit predictable.

Not my favorite of Kaira Roudas, but still a good read! I enjoy her writing, so it kept me reading even though there wasn‘t a whole lot happening through some of it. Good, deceiving character! 3.5 stars ⭐️

John died while away with his second wife, Tish. His first wife, Kate, and daughter from his first marriage know Tish ruined all their lives as soon as she entered the picture...

But could she also have had something to do with John‘s death?

The author told a decent story considering the limited number of characters, but I will admit none were likable! Which works if you like books such as The Girl On the Train.

Kept reading but no big twist.
