So many cocktails drunk in this book by Commissaire Dupin & Claire Lannoy while on “vacation” on the Rose coast of Brittany! Manhattan, Old Fashioned, a local drink, the Quincy, made with locally made whiskey, Armorik. Such fun reading about all these yummy cocktails!

1)When on my porch,view of my neighbors gardens!
2) sunrise from the side of my house 2 days ago. Stunning!
3) my porch!!! Just on it very early mornings due to HEAT!
4) This morning‘s birdsong.I can now identify cardinal, blue jay, song sparrow by sound!
5) watched tribute to Willie May last night & game-very moving. Jon Baptise & band played & sang & danced. 💕

I needed to put Butter aside- some ambivalence about it today. Could be the heat?! Anyway, visiting the Rose coast seems appropriately cooling. Sun, breezes, the beach.
The flowers are an end-of-the-year gift from a student .
