Not sure why this has such a low rating on here! This was funny, light but nuanced, and overall a clever subversion of familiar tropes (& stereotypes/double binds familiar to most women with time and experience). I think it pairs well with the traditional fairytales mentioned (Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel) to offer grounding and an alternate perspective. ⚖️🤷🏻‍♀️💅🏻✨💖

“Faraway” Collection on Amazon complete - this was my fave.

I know this hasn‘t gotten good reviews but I loved this story! I can‘t really say too much about it without giving a lot away.

It was interesting idea, the 3 wicked stepmothers teaming together to reek revenge on the princesses. However the ending was too cheesy. #fairytales #amazonorginalstories #shortstories

It wasn‘t *bad* but it just was kind of. Blah. Everyone was whiny and put-upon, all three generations, and it was just...really oversimplified. Also, I found the sexual violence against two of the characters to be completely unnecessary.

Liked it until the ending.

This was really meh. An underwhelming end to a series that really good very good especially with the cleaners and the Princess game.
You can and should just skip this one. The ending war really blegh.

This was cute and very fun to read. Nothing mind blowing or particularly revolutionary but still fun and quick.

I'm a huge Gayle Forman fan, so I really really wanted to like this Faraway installment. I'd seen it had lower reviews, yet I was hoping to find myself on the opposite side of the coin. Sadly, I wasn't. There were a couple of comical one liners though the Wickeds was kind of just 'meh' for me. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't love it.
