A twofer for #BBRC. Tom Fletcher is MASSIVE in the UK children‘s publishing world. He was also in McFly.

I do like the ‘There‘s a XXX in your book‘ series - they‘re cute and engaging, like Press Here for older readers. Not sure why no-one had run with the idea before. Story‘s not amazing, and enough with the black type on purple pages, but who doesn‘t want to turn fleas into rabbits with their magic finger? Nonsense but fun.

rockpools Then there‘s the Dinosaur that Pooped series. Did I mention these are INCREDIBLY popular? There‘s even a rock show coming to a theatre near me (and probably you too, UK folks!) very soon. In short, Dino eats things, poops them out, saves the day.

I just can‘t. The pictures are fun. The rhymes don‘t scan. I‘ve read a few in the hope that I‘ll get it. I don‘t. It‘s a dinosaur that poops a lot. That‘s it. Probably not the target market! 🙄.

LibrarianRyan I hate to say this but I liked a dinosaur that pooped a planet. And I have read lots of fletcher books. They are popular here too. 2w

This is a charming little book that my kids (7yrs and 9yrs) really enjoyed. 👍 #teamslaughter #scarathon2020 26 points = 135 points total

Darthdad My girls are 14 and 16 now, and what I miss most about them being younger are fun books like this. Always enjoyed bedtime reading 4y
Caroline2 @Darthdad I bet you do. My oldest is getting into chapter books so it won‘t be long till they don‘t want to read picture books any more. ☹️ 4y
